Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park is a fully immersive experience and fun for the whole family.
As you set out to explore this new land, here’s everything you need to know, from kid-focused ride, food and shopping reviews to where to find changing tables, stroller parking and interactive activities.
Attractions
Avatar Flight of Passage – Fly through Pandora on the back of a banshee in this 3D screen- and motion-based ride. Riders must be 44″ or taller, and FastPass+, single rider line, and rider swap are offered. See the full kid-focused review here.
Na’vi River Journey – Travel through a bioluminescent rainforest and encounter the Shaman of Song on this slow-moving boat ride. FastPass+ is offered, and there is no height restriction so everyone can ride. See a full kid-focused review here.

Changing Tables and Restrooms
There are two restrooms in Pandora – The World of Avatar, and the park’s Baby Care Center is located semi-nearby on Discovery Island.
The first restroom is located to the left immediately after you enter from Discovery Island.
The women’s restroom has two changing tables (the second is located in the back).
There is also a companion restroom with a pull-down changing table.
The second restroom in Pandora is located to the left of Satu’li Canteen. There are also two changing tables in the women’s restroom and a companion restroom.
Entrances/Exits
There are two entrances/exits to Pandora – from Discovery Island near the Tiffins restaurant and back in Africa near Festival of the Lion King.
Food and Drink
Satu’li Canteen – This quick service restaurant features create-your-own bowls and veggie and cheeseburger “pods.” It also offers mobile ordering and has real plates and silverware, refillable drink dispensers and electrical outlets for charging your phone. A frozen treat and beverage cart is located on the left just past the restrooms when you enter from Discovery Island.
Water fountains/water bottle refill stations are also located in the queues for Avatar Flight of Passage and the Na’vi River Journey.
Interactive Activities
Drum Circle – There is an interactive drum area built into the landscape where kids (and adults) can make some noise. If entering from Discovery Island, it will be on your right before you reach the Na’vi River Journey.
Wilderness Explorers – There are two Wilderness Explorer stops in Pandora. The first is immediately to your right when entering from Discovery Island.
The second Wilderness Explorers stop is located across from the Avatar Flight of Passage entrance back in the paths.
Connect to Protect – On this interactive adventure, accessed through the My Disney Experience app, you connect with a digital scientist and go on conservation missions while exploring Pandora. More information is available here.
Phone Charging
Electrical outlets are available under some of the seats in Satu’li Canteen.
Seating
There are no traditional benches in Pandora. Instead, seating is built into the landscape.
Shopping
Windtraders – This is Pandora’s main gift shop, where you will find the banshees people are walking around with on their shoulders. You can get more information on the banshees and other souvenirs available here.
Colors of Mo’ara – Here your kids can get their faces painted like the Na’vi. Prices range from $18-$25, and this kiosk is located on the left just past the restrooms when you enter Pandora from Discovery Island.
An additional merchandise kiosk is attached to Colors of Mo’ara.
There are also push carts selling souvenirs.
Stroller Parking
There are three stroller parking areas in Pandora:
- Left of the Na’vi River Journey entrance
- Right of the Avatar Flight of Passage entrance
- Right of the Satu’li Canteen entrance
