15 things to do on Main Street, U.S.A.

While many Walt Disney World guests rush through Main Street, U.S.A. to get to the Cinderella Castle and all the rides, there are quite a few things to do on this quaint turn-of-the-century American thoroughfare.  On your next trip to the Magic Kingdom, take some time to explore and enjoy these top 15 things to do on Main Street, U.S.A.

1. Ride the Main Street Vehicles

One of my preschooler’s favorite things to do at the Magic Kingdom is ride in these classic, turn-of-the-century vehicles. The vehicles include a horse-drawn trolley, a roofless jitney, an old-fashioned fire engine and a two-story omnibus, and they provide one-way rides from Town Square to Cinderella Castle and Cinderella Castle to Town Square. There’s hardly ever a wait for rides, but you have to get there early – the Main Street vehicles usually only run until 10:15 a.m.

Windtraders at Pandora – The World of Avatar

Windtraders is the main gift shop in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Instead of Mickey Mouse merchandise, here you will find some special items unique to Pandora, including the very popular banshee.
